Mother Nature Unleashes Her Wrath

May 20th, 2008 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

The tragic occurrences of Myanmar’s devastating cyclone and China’s destructive earthquake seems as if nature has vowed for a revenge against us. Blame it on us again, yes. This has all happened due to the rising concern on climate changes. Even the constant increase in food prices is also one of Mother Nature’s aggressions against her very residents - humans.

The horrible outcomes of the Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar on May 2, 2008 is a sign that the climate has turned the tide against us, that we are vulnerable to any type of wrath nature has thrown at us. Our ignorance of global warming and climate change has put ourselves into this situation, in which nature has an upper hand in redemption. Help is indeed reaching out to the victims who need aid, but it seemed too little too late.

Vengeance is indeed once again on nature’s side when the very earth rumbled under the Sichuan land. The tremor has resulted plenty of deaths, rather equivalent to the death toll of the Myanmar cyclone. The impact and destructions seem more severe than the cyclone, due to the high density of population in the area. The earthquake is the very symbol of devastation wielded by the forces of nature, a signal of intent to have revenge against humanity.

The increase in food prices mean inflation. Inflation means lack of food. That points to food crisis. Well, the only party we blame is, again, us. We seem to have reproduced too much, increasing the CO2 in the air, developing lands into residential, consuming more food which is decreasing in amount. The main problem is the overwhelming amount of humans in this world. We can compare humans’ population and Earth with cancer-cells in a sick person, or a virus within a computer. We have too many people in this world, which is poisoning the very Earth!

Earth is currently a cancer-struck patient, its organs ruptured by the cells created within Earth’s very own diverse ecosystems. If Earth has gone into terminal disease, the ice age is just around the corner.

After this disaster, helps have been pouring in from countries around the world. Just now I watched a fund raising campaign in Astro Channel 311, the responses they are getting are fantastic.

People Don’t Care. Why?

May 2nd, 2008 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

The biggest threat to the environment is not global warming. It’s not greenhouse effects. It’s not pollution, it’s not the thinning of the ozone layer. It’s the mentality of the humans.

There are two reasons why people do not give a shit about caring for the diseased Earth. Firstly, people are influenced by cultures. These cultures brainwash the people by insisting that humans are the superior species on Earth. We are the gifted. This then leads to the disconnection between humans and nature.

The second, people do not care because it damages their reputation. Their charisma is affected when they care about the environment. Imagine a gang leader, telling his gang members:”Hey, I will stop smoking because it pollutes the environment.” The members will feel absolutely awkward. This is why people do not care. The charismatic saying is: I don’t know, I don’t care.`

How can we change the mentality? By saying: “People, wake up!” won’t work.

Therefore, I would like all the visitors to this blog who read this post, to suggest a way to change the naive and crazy thinking of humans.

We are connected to nature. We cannot be separated. We rely on nature but nature does not rely on us. It’s a type of commensalism, why kill nature?

So, care for it. Spread the word.

Alert! Alert! Alert! The polar bears are in DANGER!!! Polar bears are short of ice!!! YES, THEY ARE SHORT OF ICE!!!!

Due to the global warming, the ice melts completely each summer, forcing them to go onto land and wait through the months until the next freeze-up. The global warming has made them lost their homes. Not only polar bears has affected, many Artic animals has also lost their homes just because of the global warming. These animals are: seals, walrus, sea-lion, Artic fox, Artic hare and much more….

Try find out more in Wikipedia, Nature.CA or anywhere else you can go.

They are cute, aren’t they??? So, do not kill them or damaged their homes! Stop global warming!!!!! People, what are you all waiting for? Do something before it is too late!! They have been so many warnings shown by the Earth, such as Tsunami that claimed hundred thousands of lives in 1226 2004 and Hurricane Katrina struck US Gulf Coast.
